Yasir Arafat’s nephew, Nasser al-Kidwa, said Monday that according to medical records released to him by the French Ministry of Defense, there were no traces of known poisons found in the Palestinian leader before he died, but that his cause of death remained a mystery. “The heart stopped beating, this was the cause,” Mr. Kidwa told a packed news conference at a hotel here, adding that the cause of the cardiac arrest remained unclear.
