Colombian police arrested a reputed rebel leader wanted in connection with the deadly 2003 bombing of an exclusive club in Bogota, officials said Monday. The national police chief, Gen. Jorge Daniel Castro, told journalists that Jose Nicolas Hurtado Buritica was arrested Sunday night in the Andean town of Raquira, some 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of Bogota. Hurtado Buritica is thought to command the Bogota-based units of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, the country’s largest insurgency. Full Story
