Calling top guerrillas “rich bandits” who think themselves invulnerable, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe announced Friday the imminent deployment of elite military squads formed to track down and capture or kill leftist rebel leaders. He said they will also go after chiefs of rightist militia factions who decline to take part in the fledgling peace talks underway between his government and those forces.
