Two suicide car bombs exploded within 15 minutes of each other on Sunday morning in eastern Baghdad, killing at least 10 Iraqis and an American soldier, Iraqi and American officials said. At least 15 other people were injured. Violence continued today when two American soldiers were killed in a rocket attack and five were wounded, according to a military statement.
