Colombian Troops Kill 13 ACC Fighters

Colombia’s army killed at least 13 right-wing fighters Sunday during sustained combat with a renegade paramilitary group that has refused to participate in government peace talks, a top official said. The dead fighters were members of the Peasant Self-Defense Forces of Casanare, or ACC. Since Friday, 79 armed ACC members have been “removed from combat,” either by being killed or captured, said Gen.
