A body has been found in Iraq but has not yet been identified, a U.S. official said on Tuesday after a group led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said it had beheaded a second American hostage. “We understand that a body has been found,” a U.S. official said on condition of anonymity. The United States has not yet been able to establish the identity of the body, the official said. There was no evidence that the body was that of Jack Hensley, the second American hostage, but the official said: “obviously there needs to be a process of identification and the family needs to be contacted.” CNN reported that a headless body had been found but not yet identified.
