An Uruguayan judge approved Chile’s request for the extradition of three military officers implicated in the slaying of Chilean secret agent Eugenio Berrios. The attorney representing Uruguayan Cols. Eduardo Radaelli, Wellington Sarli and Tomas Casella, the last now retired, said they would appeal Judge Gustavo Mirabal’s ruling. The men are wanted on conspiracy and kidnapping charges.
