Spanish police arrested 10 people in an operation against “Islamic terrorism” on Wednesday, a court source said.
Most of those detained in the northeastern city of Barcelona were of Pakistani nationality, the source said, adding that the arrests were not linked to March 11 Madrid train bombings by Islamic militants that killed 191 people. Police searched a number of houses in Spain’s second city and the operation was still under way, the source said. No further details were immediately available.Full Story
