Two South African businessmen suspected of being part of a worldwide nuclear smuggling ring will appear in a Johannesburg court later today. One of the men was arrested in Durban and the other in Johannesburg last night. They face charges related to the Nuclear Energy Act and the Non-Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction Act. “I can confirm that two suspects were arrested by the serious violent crimes unit of the South African police,” said national police spokesperson Director Sally de Beer.
