US indicts Colombia rebel for WMD
The US has indicted a member of Colombia’s main rebel group, Farc, on charges of attempted murder and use of a weapon of mass destruction (WMD). The charges relate to a grenade attack last year on two bars in the Colombian capital Bogota, which killed a local woman and injured five US citizens. The indictment says the attack was in retaliation for the killing of a rebel leader by the Colombian army. Full Story
