Greece will extradite to Serbia a primary suspect in last year’s killing of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, the Athens News Agency reported on Monday. Suspect Dejan Milenkovic, 34, was arrested in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki in July. Serbian authorities regard him as a key member of the mafia-style Zemun gang thought to be behind the assassination of Djindjic, who was killed by a sniper outside Serbian government headquarters in March 2003.
