The Pakistan government is considering handing over to the United States two al Qaeda suspects key to ongoing investigations in the United States and Britain, intelligence sources told Reuters Friday. Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani and Muhammed Naeem Noor Khan were caught last month and information from their capture, say Pakistani officials, revealed plots for major attacks in the United States, Britain and Pakistan. “The government is considering to hand over Ghailani and Naeem (Khan) to the U.S. authorities,” an intelligence source said, adding that so far no decision had been taken.
