Fearing possible attacks, the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi has closed its public offices, a statement on the embassy Web site said. The consular section, the department of Homeland Security and Immigration Office, and the library at the American Center were all closed to the public because of “security concerns,” the U.S. Embassy said in a statement on Thursday.
