srael will reopen the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza Friday after a 19-day closure, offering stranded Palestinians a chance to get home after a long wait, an Egyptian official said Thursday. “Israel told the Egyptian side that they will reopen it (the crossing) from 8.30 a.m. and for eight hours straight,” said the official, who asked not to be named.
