A Lebanese builder was freed unharmed after Iraqi police raided his kidnappers’ hideout in an operation that ended with the arrest of three terror suspects, authorities said Monday. Vladimir Damaa told The Associated Press his captors had threatened him with a sword and demanded a $5 million ransom and that he leave Iraq. “They (the kidnappers) put a sword to my neck, accused me of being an American spy and a collaborator with the Americans,” Damaa said in a telephone interview on returning to Beirut.
