The terrorist group of the Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said Saturday that it had seized two Turkish truck drivers and would behead them within 48 hours if their demands were not met, hours after the Turkish government confirmed that one of its citizens who had been held hostage had been freed.Meanwhile, an Iraqi mediator said he was making progress in negotiations to secure the release of seven truck drivers kidnapped last week, one of whom insurgents had threatened to kill Saturday. In a videotape broadcast on Al Jazeera television, three masked men from Mr. Zarqawi’s Tawhid and Jihad movement stood behind two seated men who were identified as Turkish drivers for a Turkish company that delivered goods to United States forces in Iraq.
