Hundreds of troops searched the mountains of eastern Colombia on Tuesday for a Roman Catholic bishop being held by Marxist rebels and Pope John Paul II condemned the abduction. Misael Vacca Ramirez, the bishop of Yopal, was seized Saturday by members of the National Liberation Army, or ELN, the smaller of the country’s two main rebel groups. “The troops are moving very cautiously because we’re very concerned about keeping Monsignor Vacca alive,” Colombian army chief Gen.
