A videotape with new demands from the kidnappers of seven truck drivers — three Indians, three Kenyans and an Egyptian — was aired on the Arabic language TV network Al-Jazeera on Friday. A masked man, appearing on the new tape in front of the truckers, read a statement for the group of kidnappers that calls itself The Black Banners. The new demands are that the truck drivers’ employer, the Kuwait and Gulf Transportation Company (KGL), pay the families of those killed in Fallujah and that all prisoners held in American prisons be released within 48 hours.Full Story
