Italy releases 3 refugee ship crew

Three crew members from a German relief agency ship left prison Friday, four days after being arrested for allegedly aiding illegal immigration by bringing 37 African asylum seekers to Sicily. The three were driven in a police car out of the prison in Agrigento, southern Sicily, where they had been held. Though it was not immediately clear where they were being taken, RAI state TV reported that a judge had decided to release the three following a hearing at the prison. Full Story
