Masked militants bombed five shops selling alcohol in a town northeast of Baghdad on Saturday, killing a passing Iraqi taxi driver, police sources and witnesses said. They said four men in two BMW cars blocked a main road in Baquba, a town of both Shi’ite and Sunni Muslims, and planted explosives at the shop doors before detonating them. The taxi driver, approaching from a side road, was killed by the blast in the early hours of the morning, they added. The owners were not in their shops at the time. Full Story
