More than 200 barrels of oil spilled in an area reserved for drilling and exploration, the state-owned oil company said. The spill occurred Wednesday in an isolated area near Point Fortin in southwestern Trinidad when someone apparently opened a storage tank. Identification is required to enter the drilling site regularly patrolled by security, but officials said it is possible someone could have sneaked into the area and opened the tank. Full Story
