Lawyers for Terry L. Nichols, the Oklahoma City bombing conspirator, listed more than 20 mitigating factors on Friday that they want to present to jurors, who will be deciding whether to sentence Mr. Nichols to life in prison or lethal injection. Defense lawyers met with Judge Steven W. Taylor of District Court without the jury present to consider what factors jurors would be allowed to consider as mitigation for Mr. Nichols’s state murder convictions in the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building.
