A British teacher was shot dead in his home in the central Pakistani city of Multan but it did not appear to have been the work of Islamic militants, police said. Allan Cox, 50, who had been teaching secondary school students in the city for the past eight to 10 years, was killed while sitting in his rented house, local police chief Hamid Mukhtar Gondal said. The house was located in a densely populated area of the city. “He was a tutor by profession. We are investigating this case from all aspects whether it is terrorist activity, or personal enmity,” Gondal told AFP. Full Story
