A series of five acid bombs, placed outside four Coral Springs homes Tuesday morning, damaged three curbside mailboxes and one vehicle and caused mail service in the area to be temporarily suspended. No one was injured in the incidents, according to Sgt. Rich Nicorvo, police spokesman. Postal Inspector Debby Allison said mail service was temporarily suspended in the area where the devices exploded, as police officers checked mail boxes.
