Saudi police killed two terror suspects in a gunbattle in mountains near Mecca, the interior ministry said, linking the pair to the weekend carnage in Al-Khobar. “In the hunt for the assailants (behind) the criminal Al-Khobar incident, (security forces) Tuesday spotted important elements linked to this incident, one of whom was disguised as a woman,” a ministry spokesman said, quoted by the official SPA news agency. Security forces cornered the two on Tuesday at around 6:30 pm (1530 GMT) in an isolated zone of Al-Hada region, on the Taif-Mecca road, in the west of the country, he added.
