Buckets Of Chemicals Found In Basement. More than 30 businesses were forced to close Wednesday after a chemical spill was discovered in the basement of a Concord office building. A cleanup crew had been at the Concord Center to remove the chemicals since Tuesday afternoon, and the Department of Environmental Services has been called in to investigate the extent of contamination. Employees of the 35 small businesses in the Concord Center were unable to go to work as the cleanup continued.
