Pakistani security officials believe that a woman sought by the United States for possible involvement in alleged new terror plots against high-profile American targets has been underground for more than a year. The whereabouts of Aafia Siddiqui, 32, a former biology student in Boston who returned to Pakistan some time after Sept. 11, 2001, have been a mystery since March 2003, when the FBI issued a global alert for her arrest for possible links to al-Qaida.
