Colorado stays course despite new terror alert

Despite strong warnings about the potential for terrorist attacks in the United States this summer, most Coloradans will notice little difference – at least for now. Law enforcement, state government and transportation officials all say that unless the nation’s terrorism threat level is raised from yellow – elevated – to orange – high – there will be no marked change. In Colorado, the Department of Public Safety oversees homeland security. Spokeswoman Patti Micciche urged citizens to watch for people wanted for FBI questioning and to report suspicious activities.
