Spain Re-Arrests Moroccan in Train Bombing Probe

A Spanish judge investigating the Madrid train bombings re-arrested a Moroccan man on Friday after new evidence came to light linking him to the March 11 attacks which killed 191 people, state radio reported. Mohamed Bouharrat, who was released in late April because of a lack of evidence, was arrested again on Friday after new witnesses testified they had seen him with two other suspects after the bombings, the radio said. Bouharrat was first detained by police on April 26 after a photograph of him was found in the ruins of an apartment in the Madrid suburb of Leganes where seven Islamic militants — suspects in the bombings — blew themselves up on April 3 rather than surrender to police.
