A blast bomb has exploded in the Beersbridge Road area of east Belfast. No-one was injured in the incident which happened in Evelyn Avenue on Saturday night. One blast bomb exploded, smashing the windows of several houses. Another device, which was found nearby, was made safe by the Army early on Sunday morning. Detectives are exploring a possible link between the blast and an earlier bomb attack in the same area of Belfast.
