Business Getting Back To Normal After Investigation. A chemical odor, possibly caused by an ammonia leak, prompted police to shut down part of Main Street Tuesday morning in Hartford. Firefighters, a hazardous materials crew and the Department of Environmental Protection responded to the scene at Aero All Gas Company. The company stores and delivers compressed gasses to businesses. An employee working in back of the business smelled ammonia around 7 a.m., according to authorities. The employee called 911. About 12 employees were in the building at the time. No injuries or health issues were reported. Full Story
