At least four members of the ousted Taliban and two government troops were killed in two separate clashes in Afghanistan, officials reported on Wednesday. Two Taliban fighters were killed after members of the radical Islamic militia raided a government office in the district of Mizan in the southern province of Zabul on Tuesday, a local official said. Two government soldiers were also killed. Two Taliban fighters were killed the same day after ambushing a government convoy in Waza Khaw district of Paktika province to the east of Zabul, an official said, adding that a civilian driver and local policeman also died in the gunbattle.
