Indonesian police have re-arrested militant cleric Abu Bakar Ba’asyir on terror charges, immediately after his release from a Jakarta jail. An official said he would be charged with all bombings committed by the militant group Jemaah Islamiah (JI). Ba’asyir, who has served 18 months for immigration offences, has denied being the group’s spiritual leader. Clashes broke out between hundreds of his supporters and police, with tear gas and water cannons being used. Full Story
