A Colombian court acquitted three Irish men on charges that they helped leftist FARC rebels with military training, a judicial source said. Niall Connolly, Martin McCauley and James Monaghan were found guilty, however, of travelling on false passports. They were sentenced to prison terms, but they are expected to be able to pay a fine and be expelled. Colombian authorities had accused the three of being members of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) who had assisted Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerrillas in bomb-making. Full Story
