Early Tests Indicate Tie to Madrid Blasts. Three suspects in last month’s Madrid railway bombings blew themselves up Saturday in a building while surrounded by police south of the capital, Interior Minister Angel Acebes said. He said one special forces agent was killed and 11 police officers were injured in the blast in the suburb of Leganes. Part of the walls of the building were blown away. Acebes said a preliminary investigation indicated three terrorists had died, but he added that had yet to be confirmed because of the damage to the bodies. Police had earlier put a cordon around part of Leganes and evacuated residents. Full Story
