Kashmir Guerrilla Group Vows to Avenge Hamas Killing in India
A prominent Islamist group in Indian-administered Kashmir has called for a strike Friday to protest the killing of Palestinian spiritual leader Shaikh Ahmad Yassin, while a guerrilla outfit in this anti-Israel state has threatened to avenge the death, drawing a parallel between Hindus and Jews. The Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen gave the strike call in this Muslim-majority state while separatist outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba threatened to wreak vengeance in India, calling Hindus and Jews two sides of a coin.
