The Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers are to hold their first meeting since they came to office, officials on both sides have said. An unnamed Palestinian official was quoted as saying the summit is expected to take place on 16 March. Israeli media said an agenda for the meeting between Ariel Sharon and Ahmed Qurei was still under discussion. Meanwhile, Israeli troops shot dead five Palestinian gunmen in the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday. There are conflicting reports about the incident.
