U.S. Marines shot and killed at least two Haitians in overnight gun battles, Staff Sgt. Timothy Edwards told The Associated Press. Edwards said the Marines were patrolling near the current prime minister’s private residence when they came under “hostile fire.” He said they then shot and killed at least two gunmen.
