Israelis turned the tables on international justice, as families who lost loved ones in Palestinian suicide attacks put “terror in the dock” in an emotional alternative to official world court hearings on the West Bank barrier. “I did not come to The Hague to be lectured by the representatives of people who send murderers into restaurants,” said Arnold Roth, whose 15-year-old daughter Malka was killed in an attack in a Jerusalem pizza parlour in 2001. “The fact that these death cult murderers are able to carry out their disgraceful, disgusting acts is what brings us all here,” he said. Roth was giving “testimony” at a mock court case being held up the road from the Peace Palace headquarters of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) where judges were hearing a second day of testimony on the legality of the barrier.
