Repairing the destruction 15 years of war have inflicted on its environment will be crucial to Liberia’s future, a report by the United Nations says. It is by the Post-Conflict Assessment Unit of the UN’s Environment Programme, which has wide experience in war zones. The report says Liberians’ health is at serious risk from the destruction of the country’s water and sewage systems.
