The Shin Bet revealed on Thursday that in early January they, together with IDF forces, arrested Fadel Taha, 30, the head of a Hamas infrastructure in Ramallah, and five of his accomplices who were responsible for manufacturing Kassam rockets in a laboratory they set up. The rockets have a range of about eight kilometers. If fired from the Ramallah area, the crude projectiles could strike Jerusalem, according to Associated Press. The bomb factory contained gas canisters, a refrigerator rigged with explosives, fertilizer and rocket engines and one Qassam rocket was in a final phase of construction, the army announcement said.
