Nepal Maoists criticise India’s extradition of top leaders. The chairman of Nepal’s Maoist rebels has criticised the Indian government for arresting and extraditing to Nepal two of the movement’s senior leaders. In a statement posted on the rebels’ website Pushpa Kamal Dahal, alias Prachand, said the Maoist party’s politburo member Matrika Yadav and another leader, Suresh Ale, were handed over to Nepalese authorities on Sunday. “India arrested Yadav and Ale in ‘abduction’ style and then handed (them) over to a group of regressive feudal authoritarian army,” Prachanda said in the statement.
