Venezuela Sunday rejected U.S. complaints that it was not doing enough to fight terrorism and said Washington should set an example by bringing to justice “terrorist” foes of President Hugo Chavez who are seeking U.S. asylum. “We share the concern over the fight against terrorism, but we demand reciprocity,” Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel said in a statement released in Caracas. He described as “surprising” comments made Friday by a U.S. counterterrorism expert, who said Chavez’s left-wing government was dragging its feet in aiding global anti-terrorism efforts. Full Story
