U.S. troops killed two Yemenis and a Syrian who opened fire on them on Monday during a raid on a house in Baghdad, police at the scene said.
They said U.S. soldiers were shot at as they raided the house around 1:30 a.m. searching for weapons. Pools of blood were visible on the ground around the house, and the walls were pockmarked with bullet holes. A car in the garage had also been hit by several bullets.
