A Sudanese man charged with firearms offences after arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport from Washington carrying bullets was remanded in custody by magistrates on Friday. Alwasila Alhibr Wassila, 45, spoke through an interpreter to confirm his name and age at London’s Bow Street magistrates court. The case was adjourned until January 23. Wassila will next appear on February 13. Wassila was arrested on Wednesday after passing through a security check following his arrival on a Virgin Atlantic flight from Washington’s Dulles airport en route to Dubai. Full Story
