A Briton has pleaded not guilty in a US court to charges of trying to sell anti-aircraft missiles. Hemant Lakhani, 68, of London, also denied further related charges when he appeared before a court in New Jersey. He is due to return to court in April. Mr Lakhani was arrested in Newark in August after a sting operation by the FBI, British and Russian intelligence. He is accused of trying to sell 50 shoulder-fired missiles and offering to obtain a radioactive “dirty bomb”. Mr Lakhani also denies offering to procure anti-aircraft guns, tanks, armoured personnel carriers, radar systems and C-4 explosives. Full Story
