A letter bomb addressed to British MEP Gary Titley has burst into flames at an office in Manchester. Earlier on Monday, a package sent to a German MEP at the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels also exploded. No one was injured in either incident, which took place on the first day back after Christmas for many EU staff. The packages, both sent from Bologna in Italy, are believed to be linked to a spate of letter bombs that were sent to senior European leaders in December. Investigators are looking at the possibility that Italian anarchists are behind the mailings. Full Story
