Sixteen Colombian soldiers have been arrested in connection with the illegal seizure of a tonne of cocaine, which they are suspected of planning to sell. The scandal is the latest in a series involving Colombian security forces. The soldiers, including a major, are accused of conducting an illegal search a week ago in southern Bogota, where drugs were being moved by traffickers. Led by Major Mauricio Llorente Chavez, the soldiers allegedly made off with the drugs in an illegal operation. Full Story
