The Taliban claimed responsibility for a suicide attack that killed six people near Kabul airport yesterday and warned that another 60 suicide bombers are ready to attack peacekeeping troops and foreign aid workers in the Afghan capital. A spokesman for the hardline former regime said the intended target of yesterday’s attack was the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), which is based at the airport, as are some 300 of the 2,000 Canadian troops in Afghanistan.
