North Korea has confirmed it will take part in a new round of six-nation talks on its nuclear programme, its state-run news agency has reported. Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Yi met North Korean leaders in Pyongyang this week. The KCNA agency quoted a North Korean spokesman as saying both sides had expressed a willingness to prepare for talks to resume early next year.
